CAREERS ADVISER

This is a permanent part-time post – (20 hours per week during College term times only) which is tenable from 31st August 2010.

As part of the Student Services team, you will provide students with impartial advice and guidance on both an individual and group basis, about educational and vocational pathways related to their college courses.

Applicants should possess:
•Diploma in Careers Guidance (parts 1 and 2), or Qualification in Careers Guidance, or NVQ 4 Advice and Guidance.
•Experience of advising students applying to Higher Education and alternative career options.
•Experience of working with post-16 students.

These posts involve working with young people and vulnerable adults and therefore if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records at an enhanced level. Further information about the Disclosure Scheme can be found at www.crb.gov.uk.
